Founded in late 2024, Digipals Media brings the teams behind Indie Games Plus, Big Boss Battle and Indie Game Jams together into one co-operative organisation.
The teams behind these sites come from a mix of different backgrounds that span website development, sales and marketing and — of course — editorial and writing. Each of our sites are running on our own managed tech stack, with customised themes and databases allowing for us to pivot and support new projects.
Digipals’ formation marked the start of a transition from simply being enthusiasm-led tools and websites into a business, and in the brief time since our formation our team have already partnered with several events, developers and publishers to great success.

The Timeline
2014: Both Jupiterhadley.com and Indiegamejams launched, these sites were both spearheaded by Jupiter (alongside Bunny for IGJ), and would later join Digipals.
2016: Spinning off from Final Boss Fight, Dann Sullivan, alongside co-founder Ben Bayliss, started Big Boss Battle, with Matt Smail coming onboard as a contributor later that year and Jupiter Hadley joining the following year. Both would go on to become co-owners of Big Boss Battle alongside Dann, following an ownership change.
2018: It was announced that indiegames.com would be closing down. Editor at the time, Joel Couture, and several writers didn’t want the legacy to end and so worked with former founder Tim Wee, as well as Jupiter & Dann to bring Indiegamesplus.com to life. This team would later reduce down to Joel, Dann & Jupiter.
2024: Digipals Media launched as a joint endeavour between Indie Games Plus & Big Boss Battle, with the company taking on the hosting, server costs and other services for the websites. Indiegamejams (Originally founded in 2014) rounded out the launching websites alongside Jupiterhadley.com (which had pivoted to a lifestyle brand site in 2019).
Digipals Media provided hosting for the website for the Brilliant Indie Treasures event that has run annually since then.
2026: Digipals Media publicly launches, and actively begins taking clients.
